Nine years after a divorce I saw coming, and four years after a breakup I didn't, I rebuilt my social life through morning voice notes with best friends across the ocean, saying yes to local meetups, and always having a trip to look forward to.
I took my daughters to swim with whale sharks. I danced until 2 a.m. with a friend reminding me I was more than a nerdy mom (which I feel like some of the time ;)). I rode horses across Mongolian valleys with no wifi to be found.
